Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014)

Lacking much of the nuance of its predecessor, “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” is trope-filled, and over-produced, but manages to build on the story of Caesar the ape, and his continued struggle to survive somewhere between man, and animal.
