About
Film reviews, one sentence at a time.
What this is.
Each review here is exactly one sentence. Tight, readable, and opinionated, so you get the take without the filler.
Why one sentence?
What began as a simple test of brevity, became something beautiful. Constraint sharpens voice. It forces choices, surfaces perspective, and respects the readers’ time.
How the rating system works.
On the surface, each film is given a star (★) rating out of 5 (☆☆☆☆☆). However there is more to the story than that.
★☆☆☆☆
Bad, skip
★★☆☆☆

★★★☆☆

★★★★☆
