The successor to Kogonada’s thoughtful “After Yang”, “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” begins with promise, pairing gorgeous visuals with an emotionally charged exploration of life and love, but soon slips into the trappings of indie imitation, as leads Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie lack the chemistry needed to make the romance believable.
