“The Long Walk”, the latest adaptation of Stephen King’s work, frames its politically charged narrative as a reflection of the current American landscape, but despite that ambition, it fails to make you care about its main characters, reducing the experience to waiting for the gore instead of engaging with the emotion behind it.
